The Small Business Solutions Team


Glenn Tuttle has served as the President of Small Business Solutions from 2004 to the present. He owned and operated Glynco Machine Company, Inc. in Brunswick, GA from 2004-2015. Within the first year under his leadership the company became ISO 9001/2001 approved. He improved product quality, on-time delivery, and assured the lowest cost to its customers. He doubled the company size and executed long term agreements with first tier customers.

Prior to this, Glenn trained and worked in large business settings and then spent ten years in mid-sized family run businesses. His abilities transformed businesses in both sales and profitability areas.

His genuine enthusiasm and result-driven business skills are factors which attribute to his success as a businessman and as a motivational force.

Glenn has a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Eastern Connecticut State University and is a graduate of a three year sheet metal apprentice program. He has attended over a dozen Development Seminars including Dale Carnegie.


Steve Borchert has an extensive background in lean six sigma and operational excellence in both commercial and aerospace businesses with maintenance repair and overhaul emphasis. He is a UTC certified Lean Master and works at United Technologies Aerospace Systems in the MRO business, as the Sr. Manager of Operational Excellence. Dr. Borchert has over 35 years of operations, logistics, supply chain, customer service, program and quality systems management experience including multiple domestic and international assignments.

Dr. Borchert designed, developed and facilitated training and improvement events across all UTC businesses leading to improvements in inventory turns, floor space utilization, productivity, lead time reductions and employee engagement. Dr. Borchert leads Senior Management teams through the Policy Deployment Process including the development of goals, initiatives, improvement targets and macro plans that link the organizations continuous improvement actions to the objectives of the business. He has also led several UTC sites to Gold level recognition, which is measured as best in class performance on a set of balanced scorecard metrics.

Dr. Borchert serves as adjunct professor and member of Nova Southeastern Universities advisory board for the process improvement concentration of the Masters program. He has successfully worked with Small Business Solutions on organizing Lean Manufacturing seminars and Kaizen events.

Steve has his MS in Aerospace Management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, an MS in Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University, an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his Doctorate in Business Administration with an emphasis on Quality Systems from The National Graduate School. Dr. Borchert is recognized as a certified Shainin Red X problem solving Apprentice, a certified Lead ISO auditor, and a member of ASQ.


George Glaeser has over 35 years of experience in quality management and engineering. As a highly successful Quality/ISO consultant, he leads companies to obtain ISO approval and AS9001 registration, within months, and to maintain approval.

George produces manuals specifically for businesses and educates the staff and management on the required quality and safety procedures. He also supervises audits for a significantly higher overall successful rate.

Glaeser has successfully worked as a quality consultant and seminar leader for Small Business Solutions.

George has his BS in Mechanical Engineering from City College New York. He is a Quality Manager and Engineer with over 35 years of experience in domestic and international industry.
